What is your relationship with technology? What everyday technologies are critical for your lifestyle? What could you give up? How does technology affect your life on a day-to-day basis?
My Teachers asked me these questions, I want to know your answer.
Here's mine:
I like technology as a general rule, I think it show the human skill that is building. I find technology very useful, but sometimes I do like to get away from to and go back to basics. Just so I know I can survive without that stuff. There are so many things I use in my everyday life too many to name. The most critical are: pluming, heating(stoves, wood stove, boiler, etc.) Automobiles, freezer, and so many more. I went backpacking the 100 Mile WIlderness this summer and give up a lot of things. I know now that I could live without: any electronics, pluming, freezer or more than one bowl and one spoon. I didn't really miss they to much, I had fun and learned a lot. Technology affects my day-to-day life mostly by making it easier to get stuff done(like this homework), but sometimes it is distracting. All in all I think technology can be a very good thing, if used right.
